CCTV (Closed-circuit television , is the recording of video and images not for general broadcast. Cameras record images, video and sometimes audio, which are transmitted only to a certain set of televisions or other receivers, rather than for public viewing. CCTV has many different applications and is becoming more and more popular across the world.
Using wireless CCTV cameras and remote access, even while on vacation you can check up on your home to ensure everything is okay, granting peace of mind. Wireless CCTV cameras can record the outside of your home to monitor any suspicious activity on your property. Interior cameras can keep an eye on your children, or their babysitter. The classic nanny cam in a teddy bear can now be a wireless internet camera with unprecedented video and sound quality.
CCTV uses are numerous and widespread, and will continue to grow in the near future.
CCTV an be applied on :
1.       Commercial Uses
One of the earliest uses of CCTV was in commercial and industrial fields. By setting up a number of CCTV cameras, many areas of a facility can be monitored remotely from one central area. If an area isn't safe for people to physically stay and watch, a video camera can record all activity, which can be reviewed from a safe distance. CCTVs are also used for security purposes. A camera may be pointed towards sensitive data or material storage, for example. Suspicious activity can be seen and interrupted, or recorded video could be used as evidence in a criminal matter. The same systems can be applied in retail stores, using CCTV footage to catch shoplifters in the act and help prosecute them after the fact.
2.       Public Safety
Many jurisdictions are increasingly using CCTV to promote public safety and discourage criminal behavior. Pilot programs with encouraging results during the 1970s and 80s paved the way for widespread public CCTV in the UK in the last decade. Cameras are posted in city centers, parking lots, on public transport and in several other areas with large volumes of foot traffic or low profiles where crimes may otherwise go easily unseen and unreported.
The UK is certainly not alone in using CCTV systems to attempt to deter crime, but it does have the most widespread adoption, and the greatest volume of public discussion about the cameras. While law enforcement officials appreciate the added surveillance and deterrence factors, some studies have called into question the real effect these cameras have on crime statistics. In addition, the omnipresent cameras raise privacy concerns from citizens.
3.       In the Home
Home adoption of CCTV systems is also on the rise. With advances in technology, CCTV setups are smaller, more manageable, less expensive, easier to install and more accessible than ever before. Rather than stringing data cables throughout the house to a "monitoring station", wireless IP cameras can transmit images, video, and audio wirelessly to a hard drive or even internet cloud storage. This data can then be accessed from your home PC, or even via the internet with the proper security precautions.

Thirdà BT could be doing work on your telephone exchange as they do perform regular maintenance on their systems. It could also be that a fault has developed within your telephone exchange. There are a number of website that allow you to check the status of your telephone exchange one of which can be found at the end of this article
Fourthà A fault on your internet service providers side. You can usually find out if this is the case by their service status on their website. If this is the case you may have to wait until the issue is resolved or if it is not resolved within 24 hours give them a call.

Tips : Computer Maintenance

A frequent maintenance is important to keep your system running smoothly. Following are some of the crucial computer maintenance tips that will help you enhance the overall performance of your PC:

First à Save all the working files into a single folder, at some specific hard drive location: You can even make multiple subfolders to keep your files well organized. This gives you the ability to open your files quickly, and consequently it makes your computer run faster.

Second à Avoid saving your personal or important data into C drive: If your computer crashes, mostly you will need to format your hard drive to recover it. Formatting your computer will delete all the data saved on the C drive location. So, make sure that you saved all your important data at any other location except the C drive. If you have already saved your data in the C drive, you should immediately move them to some other hard drive locations.
Third à Try to uninstall all the useless programs installed on the computer, mainly the big ones: If you install several unwanted programs on your computer, it potentially slows down your PC. So, uninstall all the unwanted applications or programs. Make sure you do not delete them directly from the hard drive. It may cause serious Windows errors. Follow these steps to uninstall the programs properly.
Go to Start - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs - Select the program, and select the Uninstall/Remove option to remove it.

Fouth à Delete the zipped files after extracting the data of it: Many PC users tend to keep the zip files even after extracting the necessary data out of it. This eats up the size of your hard disk. Thus, remember to delete the zip files just after saving the extracted files at your preferred locations.

Fifth à Back up all the hardware drivers and paid software installers from time to time: This allows you to retrieve your data when the PC crashes, or when you format the PC.You can make use of portable hard drives or flash drives to back up your hardware drivers and paid software installers.
Sixth à Regular Antivirus Updates: It is important to keep the antivirus program or anti-spyware software up-to-date along with the latest virus definitions. The antivirus program protects your PC from virus and spyware attacks. It also helps you to fix some of the windows problems. Scan your PC fully once every week.
Seventh à  Try to back up the important data in your computer weekly or monthly: You could do that on portable hard drives, or on reliable web servers.
Eighthà Clean up all the temporary files and folders: You can use free utilities like CCleaner and delete all the temporary files, browsing histories, and other unwanted files that become a burden on your C Drive.
Ok try it for computer maintenance.

How to Increase Traffic, Traffic, Traffic!

Today's internet marketers are beating themselves up trying to bring in the traffic they need to their websites and promotions. Well this will be informative and straight to the point on how to do this. We all know without traffic there is no chance of any sales.

How do we bring the traffic to our sites? Well if your just wanting traffic its easy, but, if you want quality targeted traffic that's another story. One way is to compose and write articles, there are dozen's of article directories out there, example; articlecity.com, goarticles.com, articlepool.com and the one your reading from just to name a few. If you are writing content irrelevant to your site that would definitely be a problem.

Research and study your niche keeping in mind product review is what you're looking for. You can learn a great deal from reading these reviews and could fuel the article you want, do not copy and paste. If you don't have a plan from the start, I suggest you get one.

Writing articles is fun and engaging at the same time with the right plan, determination, and with correct information make up the key essentials. Have you considered the entire internet has been compiled of written information? The web is constantly evolving with the exception that it's made up entirely of written information.

We can go to many extremes in getting traffic now, but without the proper tools or training how do you create the medium of building traffic. Well, search the web and you will find thousands of software products and information in books, services, promotions, containing some of the best are downloadable e-books.

Make link to other websites relevant to yours is a great way to bring targeted traffic your way. If you aren't targeting traffic relevant to your niche than why bother. If you have a site promoting shoes you wouldn't target customers looking for hair products. When you have the right plan and the tools at your fingertips then you can build the traffic.

Traffic doesn't happen overnight, unless you buy it, which is done many times becoming very expensive. We are talking about traffic, through article writing, link building, social networking and many other mediums. There is help from inexpensive university's, online tutorials you name it. No excuses finding the help you need, just search the web.

The amazing ways to get free traffic is writing those articles, Twitter, Facebook, Google these social networks are great mediums. Linking to relevant websites can bring in traffic otherwise not tapped into. Don't fall into the trap that traffic comes from just publishing websites. It takes time and effort just keep adding to your combined tools and knowledge and in no time you will see results.

Make sure that you log in as an administrator to your Windows 7 computer. Failing to which will not let you make such changes.

Slow Computer Fixing Problems

Most people who work on a computer do so at their office, on a computer that is provided for them by their work, many people also have a computer that they use at their own house - and unlike their work computer, they cannot simply get this one fixed for free or replaced completely when something goes wrong with it; because of this, it is extremely important that you understand what you can do to keep your personal computer from slowing down, and that you understand what you can do to fix a computer that has started to become more slow, as there are few things more annoying than a personal computer that cannot keep up with the things you want to use it for.

Simple age is one of the main things that can cause a computer to slow down, as computers are more and more prone to slowing down the longer they are around; furthermore, a lot of people think that their computer has slowed down, when all that has really happened is that they have been using much newer computers (perhaps at work, or at school) that are built to be a lot faster than the older model they own, and because of this, it can seem like their personal computer is a lot slower than it used to be!

If a computer starts to run out of memory, this will also tend to cause it to slow down, and if you are storing a lot of music and/or photos on your computer, this can really happen quickly; you may not realize at first that your computer has been slowed down - especially if you rarely use your computer for much more than typing Word documents and surfing the Internet - but as soon as you try to use your computer for anything that requires it to work harder, you will realize just how much slower your computer has become.

And of course, every once in a while a virus will come in and seriously destroy the speed of your computer - and what's more, these viruses sometimes arrive from the unlikeliest of places, where you maybe click on a link in an email from someone you know, and this link somehow puts a virus on your computer; this is usually the most obvious form of a "slowed down" computer, as your computer will slow down for even simple tasks, and can of course cause some serious frustration as a result.

Some people who suddenly find their computer to be much slower either automatically go out and purchase a new one, or - more often, for those people who do not have the expendable money to simply go out and buy a new computer whenever they want - they simply deal with the frustration of having a computer that is extremely slow, but what you may not have realized is that there are actually a number of things you can do to speed up your computer, even after it has slowed down significantly.

Which Do You Prefer MP3 or WAV?

We know WAV and MP3 are audio file formats that we frequently come across when we have to deal with multimedia files, however, they are completely different once their main features are compared.

WAV is generally used for burning files from or to CD, as all the attributes of the original file and its quality remain the same. Nevertheless, there is such a disadvantage of CD quality files is that they are fairly large in size, for example, a minute of music equals to a dozen megabytes on your local disc. It may very well prevent you from transmitting WAV files to other devices or sharing them online due to them being so much overweight.

But MP3 file format is the open standard for music production which makes it possible to get loads of tracks from the Internet in one go, so whenever you are about to download a file from any resource for music, it will be with the extension MP3.

Such files are compressed ones, which means the data is encoded with the purpose of reducing the size with minimal loss of quality. The level of quality depends on the bitrate the sound is encoded at, 120 and 160 kilobits per second is the best alternative that lets you compromise between quality and size. What also contributes to the high level of quality being preserved is elimination of inaudible frequencies. That is why MP3 files can be easily transferred to a number of devices, sent simultaneously to several users at a time and instantly spread all over the Internet.

MP3 format is also preferable for sound edit - such handy applications as audio editors and ringtone makers support it as the default format. Once you save your favorite songs as MP3, you can considerably expand and effectively organize your audio library while saving much space. Even if almost all your tracks appear to be CD rips, you can still get them as MP3 files for compatibility and convenience once you convert them. Software designers have made notice of the ever growing popularity of MP3 format, so it is not much of a difficulty to find an audio converter that is all intuitive in use and absolutely free for you to get.

This way, both file formats have a list of benefits and disadvantages and while professionals may very well need their sound files in WAV, MP3 is perfect for a regular user of an average level. Anyhow, you are now aware of the possibility of converting WAV to MP3 and may follow the advice whenever necessary or just give it to your friends who may need it.

Fixing A Slow Computer Startup By Cleaning Registery

If you begin downloading software programs and accessing a lot of sites. Sometimes you might unknowingly add a few programs to the startup sequence. This enlarges it and causes a slower response time.

Whenever you turn your PC power on it loads up your default setting and the downloaded programs you have in your startup that have been permitted by the operating system. The more programs you include in your startup sequence the longer it takes them to load.

If you've been experiencing this kind of slowdownof your computer  then limiting how many programs you have in your startup sequence can help you maintain some speed on your computer. But for a non-techie to try to do this may be a daunting task.

An alternative method of speeding up your computer is to uninstall all programs that are causing the slowing down of your PC. One of the best ways of editing your startup sequence is to run a good registry cleaner on your computer. The best cleaners will have a program manager that performs this task safely and quickly.

Inside the program manager you will find the startup manager to manage start up program. By opening up this section there will be an editable list of all the installed programs that will automatically begin to work once you push the power button and your startup sequence kicks in. Each individual registry cleaner might have a little different way of working but basically they all work the same.

The list will then be displayed along with check boxes beside every entry. This gives you the option of keeping or removing programs you don't want to load on your startups. By unchecking the box beside the programs you don't want to load, they will not kick into loading mode when you turn on your computer.

You can access your startup programs by clicking on 'Start', then 'Run'. When the popup box appears type in 'msconfig', click 'OK' and another box will show up. Click on the 'startup' tab and then you can uncheck any programs you don't want.

Just follow the prompts from there and you will have cleaned up your startup sequence and will have a much faster loading time when you start your computer. A good registry cleaner can do this for you and more. You can find plenty of them online but you need to thoroughly research them before you part with your money.

Is your windows computer running slow? Does it constantly freeze up? If you are answering yes, there is a huge chance that your computer registry might be corrupted. You can simply use a pc cleanup software and have your PC running like new again in no time.

Techniques on Building a Amazing Website

A good business will always find ways to maximize its company's assets. It does not mean that a business must have a maximum manpower though. Some areas need to function without any manpower, like the website for example. In this case, a good technique, and following the guides in web designing will be the key.
There are ways on how to implement better guidelines in web designing. While sticking with the guidelines, it will perfectly work if techniques are associated well. Harmony must be the way in this process. The first guide is regarding the web designer. Corporations have their IT department to take care of this. A board will assign an IT head and the IT head will facilitate the maintenance and upgrade of the web. This is a good option, as the IT people will be governed with company's rules and guidelines. For small and medium sized businesses, they will most likely hire a firm to do their web as they consider this as a one-time deal. This option could save money though.
Make sure that the web design will be governed with guidelines that you laid down to your web designer. The result will be subject for some editing before the web is publicly published.
Match of identity. Your web design must guide you for a matched identity of your image. There must be a purpose why you made a website. You may want it locally, or maybe international, advertising or even online store. The design must be balance giving it an image of your company's purpose. In this way it will be more interesting to stay on your web and harmony will be accounted.
Information on the web is another guide lines to be observed. Before publishing something on the website, make sure that the information is reliable, so when the customer inquires about the insight, you have something as a reference of proof. This may take some time and needs some effort but it is worth it. Information will guide and build a company's trust.
Guidelines must be updated depending on season. Seasonal changes may cause ups and downs on the business. Get prepared and use effective approach to aim for betterment and improvement. Application is hard to follow at most time but it only needs discipline and a role model. Then the rest of the team will just do the implementation if they can see that the owner themselves are regulated with the company's rules and guidelines thus making it more effective and every aspect of the team will be dominated with their own rules and action.
Innovative technology is another big guide line to follow in web designing. An innovative mind and application will result in an advancement of company's growth and expansion. Don't limit your ability to expand and conquer the industry. It is a risk to take at first but it is a potential to reach the peak of success.
